Spring Has Sprung!
The end of the school year is approaching! So are end-of-year assessments, including Regents Exams, AP Exams and SAT/ACT Exams.
Here are some common questions about our program:
What are Regents Exams and Do They Matter?
Regents Exams are end-of-year assessments that are given in the following subject areas: Earth Science, Living Environment/Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Global History, U.S. History and English. Exam scores appear on a student’s high school transcript and many school districts count the score as part of a student’s overall grade in the course.
Who Is Regents Review?
Regents Review is a test prep company that has been preparing students for New York State Regents Exams since 1976. What started out as a basement cram session with a teacher and some students over 40 years ago has now emerged into New York’s leading one-day bootcamp review for not only Regents Exams, but for Advanced Placement Exams and SAT/ACT Exams.
What is Covered in Your Courses?
Each course will provide a comprehensive review of the material that will be tested on a particular exam, as well as test-testing strategies and techniques. The full-day courses run from 9:00am to 4:00pm with short breaks every hour and a lunch break in the middle of the day. Our teachers will review the material in a topic-by-topic manner, covering material taught in the beginning of the school year all the way through the end of the year. In addition, review packets are provided for each course and parents regularly rave about the materials that we provide.
When/Where Are Your Courses Offered?
Our courses are offered on the weekends just prior to a scheduled exam. For many classes, we offer a variety of dates from which to choose.
We hold classes both in person and online. Our in person courses are held in comfortable classrooms across the region, including at Adelphi University (Long Island); Purchase College (Westchester); St. Thomas Aquinas College (Rockland County); and Mount Saint Mary College (Orange County). We also offer several online options for our classes.
